[Crypto Account] – Can I trade news on the Crypto account?
For high-impact news events, a blackout period applies to the Crypto Account:
No trades or orders can be placed 5 minutes before or 5 minutes after a high-impact news release.
Violation Consequences:
Any trades opened or closed within this blackout window will be invalidated and not counted toward your trading performance or payouts.
Pre-News Trades:
If a trade is placed before the blackout period and is expected to reach its take-profit within 5 minutes after the news release, that trade will be considered a news trade and will be invalidated as well.
Closing Trades:
All trades must be closed at least 5 minutes before the high-impact news release or held until 5 minutes after it.
Trades do not need to be flat; however, any order opened or closed within the blackout period will be disregarded and will not contribute to any payouts.
Traders should monitor the high-impact news schedule closely to avoid breaching these rules.
Important Note:
Any profits generated from trades opened or closed during the blackout period will be disregarded, while any losses incurred will remain the trader’s responsibility and will not be reversed.
